Super Floral Floats To Houston
THE 2005 Super Floral
Show will hit Houston, TX, on June 22 to 25, bringing volume
buyers of floral, foliage, tropicals and hardgoods to the George
H. Brown Convention Center. The business-to-business event will
feature 60 categories of products from more than 400 exhibitors.
Get a taste of the international
at the Floating Flower Market, a new addition to the show.
It highlights three different European merchandising concepts.
Based on Amsterdam's Floating Flower
Market, an example of
loose color blocking will mimic that used in Spain and France,
and another represents very strict German color blocking.
Another new event for this year's show
is "Breakfast With The Experts," a series of interactive
sessions on key issues. Topics for the sessions are: Exceeding
Customer's Expectations; the "Floating" Flower Market;
Transportation Companies Speak; Labeling, Signage And Advertising
Of Containerized Plants; and Color Watching. All sessions
will take place on June 25 at 8 a.m.
But kicking the show off, as always,
is the keynote breakfast, which will take place on June 23
at 8 a.m. Keynote speaker Jeff Tobe, author of Coloring Outside
The Lines: Business Thoughts On Creativity, Sales And Marketing,
will challenge attendees to step outside their comfort zones
and use creativity to position their stores and floral departments.
